Bhuvana Raman
Founder Director

A Cost Accountant cum Company Secretary, Bhuvana brings in rich experience of more than a couple of decades, out of which she has worked with Ashok Leyland for over 16 years across various functions viz., Treasury, Taxation, Export Finance and Internal Audit. In practice since 2008 covering various aspects of Legal and Secretarial Services including complete Corporate law solutions and strategies for listed companies, private limited companies as well as closely held public limited companies. Ethics, quality, domain knowledge, keeping abreast with latest revisions and time bound deliverables are her basic paradigms of professional practice.

Mohana Srinivasan
Founder Director

A Chartered Accountant by qualification and Treasurer by experience, Mohana has worked with Top Institutions in the country including IDBI and Ashok Leyland Limited. She has over three decades of experience in Fund Raising including heading the team for fund raising in Ashok Leyland Limited for Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds to the tune of USD 100 mio.

She is on the Board of Hinduja Foundries Limited, Ashley Alteams Limited and Karthik Investment Limited.

Jayanth Viswanathan
Director

Fellow member of the Institute of Companies Secretaries of India, has a Masters in Labour Law and Labour Welfare from India Law School (ILS) Pune.

Jayanth Viswanathan has rich experience in corporate laws and was spear heading secretarial and legal departments of listed entities His core strengths include his ability to quickly understand most challenging and complex matters of law and give realistic elucidation of the situation along with a pragmatic solution. He is also a faculty member at the Institute of Companies Secretaries of India. A young, passionate and energetic professional who truly believes in customized and flexible service in accordance to the needs of the clients, without compromising on ethics, integrity and demonstrates highest level of professional standards.

L V SHYAM SUNDAR
Director

Ascend Akshayam Vertical for Valuation, Business Consultancy and Fund Raising is handled by Mr L V Shyamsundar. He has a Post graduate Diploma in Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur and a Company Secretary. He is experienced in debt syndication, investment banking, business consultancy, risk management, CSR, corporate laws and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Laws. He is involved in various social entrepreneurship and CSR projects and was instrumental in setting up of over 100 producer companies covering over 50,000 farmers. He is a visiting faculty/resource person at SIRC of ICSI, Chennai Business School, VIT (TIC), CSIE of IIT, NABARD and other business schools/private institutions.

V Adhivarahan
Legal Advisor

Mr V Adhivarahan, an Advocate, Practising Banking and Civil laws before High Courts, Debt Recovery Tribunal and other forums across South India. Has rewarding experience in varied Branches of Law, more particularly, Banking Law, Corporate Law, Civil Law and other related laws. Has a natural ability to judiciously combine law with pragmatism. Has a strong academic orientation with a number of Gold medals to his credit. He had earned wide appreciation from the Boards in the Banks where he worked, his Seniors in the Bar and from the Bench and had earned distinction in the academic circles too.

Written a number of Articles on a range of topics have been published in leading Law Journals and bankers journals which had been well received by the Bar and the Bankers. Opinions, Litigation, Project Title Opinions, Documentations, Vetting and Due Diligence and Assignment of NPAs and Registration are all handled with competence.

Shanthi Meenakshi
Associate, Legal

Shanthi Meenakshi holds a post graduation in Law of Contracts including Mercantile Laws from the University of Madras. Macro Perspective, meticulous presentation and cogent, lucid expressions are her strengths and as a litigation practitioner, she had received appreciations of the acclaimed Seniors of the Bar as well as the Bench. Project Coup and Project Quid of Standard Chartered Bank, Hirco Project of Yes Bank are some of her niche projects. She had also contributed to a number of due diligence projects of Non Performing Assets.

Meera Raman
Associate, Technology (Advisory)

Meera holds a Bachelors degree in Mathematics and Masters in Computer Applications. Has a rich experience of 20 years in the Banking Domain and is in the Education sector since 2010. At Akshayam, her role will be more advisory in nature, guiding on the best use of technology for the company requirements and also help in designing a robust platform for client interactions.

Rajarajeshwari O R
Associate, Audit & Assurance

She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India since 2013. She has been in practice since November 2013. Her areas of practice include Statutory and Tax audit, Book keeping, internal audit, Tax planning and filing of various returns under Direct and indirect taxes, Registrations under VAT, service tax and other acts. She has been conducting audits for small and medium scale companies, Bank Concurrent audits. Some of the industry sectors for whom she has rendered audit service includes Manufacturing, Logistics, Nonprofit Organizations, IT and ITES Companies, Mutual funds and Trading Companies.

Aishwarya Ramesh
Associate, Intellectual Property rights

Aishwarya is a Chartered Accountant by qualification and holds a Masters in Business Administration from Symbiosis University. She has worked with Scope International handling Singapore Taxation and subsequently with Randstad as Head,Credit Control. Currently, she extends support and strength to clients in aspects of intellectual property rights relating to trademarks, patents, Copyrights and designs and helps clients to come out with a sound IP strategy
